Deploying Screon In-Room
Get your hotel ready
for Screon.
Guests gain a clear way to contact the hotel, staff get a configured request board, and managers can track request progress and review its history. We prepare the devices, configure services and train your team.
Deployment stages
A clear outcome
at every stage.
- 01
Choose the first workflows
Select services, rooms and teams. Outcome: an agreed scope defining what guests can request and who will handle it.
- 02
Prepare the property and content
Check the network, power and device placement. Gather your logo, copy and offers. Outcome: rooms and content ready for configuration.
- 03
Configure the service
Set up guest sections, staff interfaces and workflows. Outcome: requests reach the right team and can be handled through to completion.
- 04
Train staff on their own tasks
Walk through typical requests with your team. Outcome: staff know where to find a request, how to accept it and how to mark it complete.
- 05
Launch and expand
Begin operation, review feedback and refine workflows. Outcome: a practical plan for ongoing use and expansion.
Getting started
Start with a pilot.
Then add more rooms.
To evaluate the service before a full rollout, start with 10–20 rooms. Over 30 days of operation, guests and staff use it in everyday situations.
Together, we identify which services to keep, what to change and the configuration needed to expand.
Pilot programme & pricingPreparing together
You know your hotel.
We configure Screon.
Your project lead helps agree on services and organise training. This lets us configure Screon around the way your hotel works.
What we need from your hotel
- Rooms, power sockets and stable Wi-Fi
- A project lead
- Staff from the participating teams
- Your logo, hotel information and offers
- Agreed rules for handling the first requests
Integrations
You can start without a PMS integration.
Guest requests and team workflows can be the first step. If you need data exchange with a PMS, POS or hotel app, we review that requirement separately.
First, we identify the benefit for guests or staff. Then we confirm technical feasibility, cost and timing.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to start with a pilot?
A pilot helps you evaluate the service before expanding. We agree on the scope and deployment sequence based on your hotel's readiness and needs.
How long does preparation take?
Timing depends on device delivery, network readiness and content. We agree on the plan before work begins. A pilot's 30 days of operation start after preparation is complete.
How much training do staff need?
The core workflow uses a simple board: accept a request, assign a staff member and mark it complete. Training covers these steps using your hotel's services.
Can we use our own tablets?
We will check the specific model, placement and operating conditions. The final configuration is agreed before launch.
What happens if the connection is lost?
Before launch, we review internet and local network outages for the agreed architecture. Content display and request handling are assessed separately.
How are hosting and support agreed?
Hosting, access, data, updates and support are discussed as part of the technical scope and agreed before launch.
Device preparation
Every tablet
has a room assigned.
During setup, we link devices to rooms and check connectivity. Devices shows each tablet's assignment, connection status and last connection, helping the team identify devices that need attention.
Next step
Plan your hotel's deployment.
Discuss the outcome you want and the readiness of your rooms and team. We will suggest a launch sequence.
